Here is some basic information on the unit in the condominium/apartment: La Casa.
Unit: 20th floor of a 24 story residential building, located on Kuhio Ave. at Kalaimoku Street (right in the middle of Waikiki).
Three blocks to the ocean (Ft. DeRussy and the beach at the Outrigger Hotel and Waikiki Shore). It’s walking distance to most of the restaurants, theatres and shopping in Waikiki (International Marketplace).
Size: One bedroom, one full bathroom (tub & shower combo), of approximately 663 sq. ft., including a large lanai/balcony (104 sq. ft.). Guests can use the bathroom, without going thru/entering the bedroom.
View: The views from the 20th floor are spectacular. Some ocean view across/over the Royal Hawaiian Hotel and views of the Ala Wai Gold course, canal, and most of Waikiki/city from the living room and lanai/balcony.
Furniture: King size bed in the bedroom, large chest of draws, and storage cabinet. Queen size sofa-bed in the living room. Side chair and a dining table with chairs – in the “dining area”.
Furnishings: There is a 25” color TV set with basic cable and remote control, plus a VHS/VCR. Another color TV set in the bedroom, with remote control and VCR. Towels, linens, blankets, and all the kitchen items (dishes, glasses, pots & pans, etc) are in ample supply.
There is a direct dial telephone (no charge for local calls, on a vacation/holiday rental).
Appliances: There is a full kitchen with stove/oven, microwave, and refrigerator, with icemaker. Plus, steam iron, coffee maker, and a toaster.
Air Conditioning: There is a wall/window mounted air conditioning unit in the living room and a second unit in the bedroom, which will keep the apartment “cool”. Alternatively, cross ventilation and dual fans will keep the apartment “comfortable”.
Parking: One covered assigned parking stall is available, in a secured garage (takes a remote “Genie” to open the gate/door).
Recreation: There is a “roof top” recreation deck with a whirlpool “Jacuzzi” spa, and men’s and women’s saunas. NO POOL.
Building Security: It requires a security key/card to open the lobby door to the residential condominium area, and to operate the elevators (lifts). Plus, there are security video cameras monitoring nine public areas. Note: you can view your “guests” at the front of the building.
